MATH 151: Calculus

Description and goals:

This is the first part of a two-semester sequence intended to introduce the fundamental ideas and techniques of differential and integral calculus to students of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering. The course is not proof-oriented but students are expected to gain a good understanding of the basic concepts of calculus and to be able to apply them in concrete problems.
