"Mandelbrot Movie" made by C. T. McMullen. The Mandelbrot set M (in white) is the locus of all normalized quadratic polynomials z -> z²+c with connected Julia sets. A remarkable feature of M demonstrated in the movie is its self-similarity: Arbitrarily close to every point in the boundary of M one can find imbedded copies of M.
